Southern Cross Stable

is located at the base of the Sierra Nevada mountains in Reno, NV. Southern Cross is a small family owned and run operation specializing in dressage training and preparing horses and riders for dressage competition.
Southern Cross is the home of "Hazen", the 2006 USDF 4th level Dressage All Breeds Half-Arabian winner and other horses of multiple breeds, each with their own successful show records, including many "High Point of Show" awards.
Southern Cross Stable specializes in re-schooling unruly or poorly started/schooled horses and patiently teaching them to love their work and please their owners and riders. Each of our dressage champions arrived at Southern Cross with a reputation, some we accused of being gang members from the "hood", others could have been rough stock for the local rodeo, and the latest arrival simply has us shaking our heads wondering if the "90 days" of training he had a year ago was fact or fictional.

We use a slant load 6 horse with individual outside access doors, insulated and vented. Double stall for mare/foal or large horse. We travel to all East Coast states, primarily in Mid Atlantic region and to points west as trips demand. Call for schedule, and be suire to include street addresses for both ends for a quote and name and phone of person responsible for the trip.
